After reading your post, I am very interested in educreations. I think it would be awesome to use online tools like this to create online video lessons much like Khan Academy. It does seem like a very simple concept for recording lesson and then sharing them with others. I was able to set up an account and
make a short math video in no time. I think it would be great to be able to make a bunch of short clips and then splice them together to make a complete video. I have made a few videos like this using Youtube. After snooping around a little more, I came across Screenchomp. Although there is no repository for the sharing of videos, it does allow you to email or download the videos I make. Thus, if you can download a bunch of short videos as MPEG-4 files, then I could upload them to Youtube and edit them to make a complete
video. Links to the videos could then be shared with my students. As I do not have an Ipad at home, I will have to try this out at school to see how effective it is.
